Aquapolis
Aquapolis is a water park in Spata, about 20 kilometres from central Athens and next to the Attica Zoological Park. Opened in 2020, it offers a water-based leisure experience with several themed zones: King Cobra, a thrilling slide attraction; Adrenaline Speed Zone, with a mix of high-speed slides; Beach, a relaxation area within the park; and Family Adventure Zone, a water play area for the whole family. General admission includes unlimited access to the pools and slides, and the park provides free sun loungers, chairs and umbrellas, free wifi, free parking and lockers for hire at €5. The park also has the Aqua Café, offering snacks, salads, pasta, burgers and skewers, as well as coffee, smoothies and ice cream. It can be reached by bus (line 319 from Doukissis Plakentias station) or by car via the Attiki Odos, and there is a special taxi fare for visitors. The park operates from 10:00 to 18:00, closed on Mondays and, in the low season, open weekends only.
