El Pabellón Dajing Ge conserva el último tramo en pie de la muralla que rodeaba la Ciudad Vieja de Shanghái, derribada casi entera en 1912. Sobre la muralla se alza el pabellón, y a su lado un pequeño templo dedicado a Guan Yu; dentro, una exposición con fotografías y maquetas cuenta cómo era la ciudad amurallada antes de las concesiones.
