This is the villa that the writer Vicente Blasco Ibáñez (1867-1928) had built in 1902 next to Malvarrosa beach, on Calle Isabel de Villena. The current building, rebuilt and opened as a museum in 1997, reproduces the original villa, with its gallery of columns and caryatids. Inside, rooms from the author's life are recreated with furniture and personal objects, including his work desk, his glasses and his inkwell. Family portraits, letters and manuscripts, works by artist friends of his and first editions of his books are displayed. There is also a research centre with biographical documents and editions of his works in several languages, and a Mediterranean garden. The visit lasts approximately one hour.
