San Lorenzo Beach
NatureVisit: ~90 min
Urban sandy beach of a little over a kilometre and a half that fills the whole bay of Gijón, between Santa Catalina Hill and the mouth of the river Piles. It has a seafront promenade, the Muro, that runs along it from end to end, and it is a beach with very marked tides: at low tide it widens considerably and at high tide it is reduced to a narrow strip.
