Bethnal Green café opened in 1900 by Tuscan immigrants and run ever since by the Pellicci family. Its building and Art Deco interior were Grade II listed in 2005. It is a British-Italian café and a neighbourhood meeting point. The Kray twins are said to have frequented it. Part of a Harry Styles music video was filmed here in 2022.
