The Royal Palace of Pedralbes is surrounded by a large area of gardens in the Les Corts district of Barcelona. In the gardens you can see the Hercules Fountain, with a bust of the hero on a basin bearing the coat of arms of Catalonia and a spout shaped like a Chinese dragon. The building, in the Noucentista style, has a façade with Tuscan-order columns forming two porticoes with semicircular arches, and inside the royal rooms, such as Alfonso XIII's bedchamber and Victoria Eugenia's waiting room and chamber, remain almost in their original state.
