Nagai Stadium
Nagai Stadium, known by its sponsored name Yanmar Stadium Nagai, is a multipurpose stadium in Osaka opened in 1964 and rebuilt in 1996. It is the home ground of Cerezo Osaka of the J1 League and has occasionally been used by Gamba Osaka. It has a 400 m, 9-lane athletics track and a natural grass field measuring 107 x 71 m, certified Type 1 by the Japanese athletics federation. It has hosted events such as matches from the 2002 FIFA World Cup, the 2007 World Athletics Championships and the Osaka International Women's Marathon. As well as sports, it is used as a venue for concerts and other events. The stadium has a capacity of around 50,000 spectators and is about a 5–10 minute walk from Nagai Station.
