Church of Our Lady and Saint Nicholas
CultureVisit: ~30 min
Anglican parish church next to the Pier Head, dedicated to St Nicholas, patron saint of sailors. Its location by the river linked it from early on to seafaring people. It was severely damaged in the bombing of the Second World War and rebuilt in the 1950s. Its tower with a lantern is a visual landmark among the buildings of the waterfront.
