The Tournelle Bridge crosses the River Seine and connects Paris's 4th and 5th arrondissements, notable for its large central arch flanked by two smaller side arches. On one of its piers stands a statue of Saint Genevieve, patron saint of Paris, by the sculptor Paul Landowski. The bridge's asymmetrical design was conceived to suit the irregular shape of the Seine's course at this point.
