The Horseshoe Estate in Britz was built between 1925 and 1933 to a design by the architects Bruno Taut and Martin Wagner. Its horseshoe-shaped block surrounds a pond and offers bright social housing, with colour on the façades and gardens. It is part of the Berlin Modernism Housing Estates, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008.
