On the ground floor, the Effektorium lets visitors conduct a virtual orchestra or choir performing Mendelssohn's works, offering a unique interactive experience. The upper floors hold exhibitions devoted to Fanny Hensel, Felix's sister, and to Kurt Masur, as well as personal belongings and family correspondence.
