Samson and Goliath
CultureVisit: ~30 min
Samson and Goliath are the two enormous yellow gantry cranes of the Harland & Wolff shipyard, in Belfast's Titanic Quarter. Goliath was completed in 1969 and Samson in 1974, and they have dominated the harbour skyline for decades. They are an industrial symbol of the city and can be seen from many points in the centre and along the banks of the Lagan.
