Klausen Synagogue

The Klausen Synagogue, located in Prague's old Jewish quarter next to the Jewish cemetery, is the largest surviving temple of the old ghetto and the only example of early Baroque architecture in this part of the city. Inside, visitors can explore exhibitions dedicated to Jewish customs and traditions, as well as learn about fundamental Jewish texts, ritual objects and aspects of Jewish family and festival life. The building also houses the Ceremonial Hall, which explores the theme of death in Jewish tradition, and occasionally hosts temporary exhibitions and special events.
