Square at the northern end of the Paseo de Recoletos, dedicated to Christopher Columbus. It brings together the Columbus monument, a column with the statue of the navigator erected in the 19th century, the Jardines del Descubrimiento with their large sculpted blocks, Antonio Lamela's Torres de Colón and an enormous Spanish flag. Beneath the gardens is the Centro Cultural Fernán Gómez.
