Concert hall opened in 1888 and the work of the French architect Albert Galleron, right on Calea Victoriei. Its neoclassical rotunda with a dome and Ionic columns houses the George Enescu Philharmonic. Inside, a great circular fresco traces the history of Romania, and it is the home of the Enescu festival.
