Kyoto Tower
LeisureVisit: ~45 min
A 131-metre observation tower opened in 1964, opposite Kyoto station. It is the tallest building in the city and is held up without an interior steel frame, with a design inspired by a candle. The observation deck, at about 100 metres, offers 360-degree views of the city, the hills and the temples. Its base houses a building with shops and a public bath.
