Royal temple begun by Rama I and finished under Rama III, famous for its enormous vihara housing the bronze Buddha Phra Si Sakyamuni, brought from Sukhothai. In front, in the square, stands the Sao Ching Cha, the great red wooden swing formerly used in Brahmanic ceremonies. The complex has painted murals and a large cloister of Buddha images.
