São Paulo Metropolitan Cathedral (Catedral da Sé)
Neo-Gothic cathedral on the Praça da Sé, in the heart of the historic centre. Construction began in 1913 and it was inaugurated in 1954, although it continued to be completed afterwards. It stands out for its large Renaissance-inspired dome, its towers and its spacious interior of stained glass. A few steps away, in the square, is the zero marker from which the city's distances are measured.
