Gothic brick cathedral on Ostrów Tumski, the oldest island of Wrocław, seat of the archdiocese. Its two towers, about 98 metres high, dominate the district. It suffered serious damage in 1945 and was rebuilt in the following decades. A lift goes up to a terrace from which you can see the island, the Oder river and the city centre.
