In the Quai Branly Museum, visitors explore exhibitions dedicated to the art and cultures of Africa, Oceania, Asia and the Americas, with ethnographic objects, photographs, documents, musical instruments and textiles that reveal the diversity of non-Western societies. The building, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, houses both permanent and temporary exhibitions, where visitors can see masks and tapa cloths from Oceania, costumes from Asia and collections of Australian Aboriginal art, as well as themed displays ranging from the history of tattooing to the influence of Oceania on American popular culture.
