José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden, founded in 1955 and dedicated to the botanist who led the Royal Botanical Expedition of New Granada. It brings together collections of Andean plants, páramo flora, a lake and a large tropical greenhouse with lowland species and orchids. It is in the north of the city and is one of Bogotá's great green spaces.
