It was designed by Adrian Smith, of the firm SOM, for the developer Emaar, with a flower-shaped floor plan that steps back towards the spire. The At the Top platforms, on floors 124 and 125, offer views of the Gulf, the desert and the city. It stands in the Downtown Dubai district, next to the Dubai Mall, and it is advisable to book your ticket in advance.
