Australian Museum
CultureVisit: ~120 min
Founded in 1827, it is the oldest museum in Australia and stands on the corner of College Street and William Street, opposite Hyde Park. Its collection focuses on natural history and the culture of Indigenous peoples: dinosaurs, minerals, Australian and Pacific wildlife, and pieces from the First Nations. The main 19th-century building keeps its Neoclassical façade.
