Bodega opened in 1908 at Carrer de Sant Carles 15, in Barceloneta. It owes its name to a generator that supplied the neighbourhood with electricity from the ground floor of the building. It keeps its original interior, with a wood and marble bar, marble tables with cast-iron legs, barrels and an old ice chest, and its entrance has Modernista wrought-iron doors. It is known for its homemade vermouth, Russian salad and the Barceloneta bomba.
