Natur-Bobbahn
The Natur-Bobbahn is a rail-guided toboggan run in Kienbergpark, next to the Gärten der Welt, in Berlin's Marzahn-Hellersdorf district. It is the first facility of its kind in Berlin to operate all year round. The descent measures almost 500 metres and reaches speeds of up to 40 km/h through the park landscape. The facility has 22 new toboggans that comfortably seat two adults, and features an assistance system that brakes automatically to avoid collisions with the preceding toboggan. After a fire in 2022, it was rebuilt and reopened in July 2024 with a second track added. Tickets are sold exclusively at the LEITNER Natur-Bobbahn ticket office at Kienberg. Children aged 3 to 5 can ride free (maximum 3 rides a day); those aged 3 to 7 must be accompanied by an adult, and from age 8 and 1.35 metres tall they may ride the toboggan alone. The access is not wheelchair-accessible.
