Faro Beach
Playa del Faro is an urban beach of golden sand next to Marbella's marina, about 200-300 m long and around 30 m wide. It is sheltered by a breakwater, giving calm, shallow water suitable for family bathing. It holds a Blue Flag (2026-2027 season) and has facilities including toilets, showers, summer lifeguards, sunbed and parasol rental, and a children's play area. On a small breakwater rebuilt in 2022 stands the sculpture of the Venus of Marbella, restored and facing the old town. The beach is surrounded by beach bars and restaurants, and is just a few steps from Avenida del Mar and the old town. Water activities on offer include paddleboarding and jet skis.
