Coyoacán
Former village south of the capital, absorbed by the city, with cobbled streets and colonial houses. Its centre is Plaza Hidalgo and the Jardín Centenario, with the Fuente de los Coyotes, and beside them the parish church of San Juan Bautista. It is a neighbourhood closely tied to Frida Kahlo, whose Casa Azul is a few streets away. At weekends it fills with stalls, music and people strolling.
