Albarracín Museum
On Calle San Juan, inside the former hospital built in 1789 and converted into a museum in 1990, this space brings together material from the archaeological excavations of Albarracín. The route runs from prehistory to the medieval period, with particular weight given to medieval holdings: 11th-century Islamic ceramics, the town charter of the 13th century, episcopal seals, ceramics and coins. A second room covers modern and contemporary history, with pieces such as the 16th-century standard and the Tramacastilla loom alongside other textile pieces. Explanatory panels and audiovisuals accompany the visit, and several temporary exhibitions are programmed throughout the year.
