Crystal Palace Gardens
NatureVisit: ~60 min
Romantic gardens of Porto laid out in the 19th century on the site where the Crystal Palace of the 1865 International Exhibition stood. The landscape design is attributed to the German Emil David. They are explored via terraces, tree-lined paths and corners with ponds, and several viewpoints open towards the River Douro. Peacocks roam free along the paths. They are on Rua de Dom Manuel II, next to the Pavilhão Rosa Mota.
