Passage de l'Ancre
CultureVisit: ~15 min
Narrow arcade (about 68 m by 2.5 m) in the 3rd arrondissement, between 221 rue Saint-Martin and 30 rue de Turbigo. Its name comes from the sign of an inn. Around 1637 the first hackney carriage hirer set up here. Former artists' workshops have become colourful shops, with plants, old signs and one of the last umbrella repairers in Paris.
