Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve
NatureVisit: ~180 min
A 130-hectare mangrove wetland in north-west Singapore, opened as a nature park in 1993 and declared a reserve in 2002. It has been an ASEAN Heritage Park since 2003 and is a stopover for migratory birds such as curlews and redshanks. There are hides for watching birds, and sometimes smooth-coated otters, monitor lizards or even an estuarine crocodile can be seen in the channels.
