Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
NatureVisit: ~180 min
Reserve of about 2 km² with primary rainforest in the centre of the island, where Bukit Timah Hill rises, about 165 m, Singapore's highest natural peak. It has four waymarked trails (blue, red, green and yellow), and the last three lead to the summit shelter. Long-tailed macaques are often seen, and it is the only place in Singapore with the red-cheeked flying squirrel. A wildlife bridge over the BKE expressway connects it with the Central Catchment reserve.
