Santa Catalina Castle
CultureVisit: ~45 min
Star-shaped fortress built at the end of the 16th century and in the 17th, after the Anglo-Dutch sacking of Cádiz in 1596. It stands at the northern end of La Caleta beach, opposite San Sebastián Castle, and defended this part of the coast. Over time it served as a prison and is now used as a cultural space. Its bastions and moat allow you to stroll with views of the open sea.
