Éternelle Notre-Dame
Éternelle Notre-Dame is a 45-minute virtual reality experience that takes visitors on a journey through 850 years of the history of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, from the 13th to the 21st century. Visitors, in groups of one to four, wear virtual reality headsets to explore a reconstruction of the cathedral, witness key moments in its history and encounter emblematic figures and craftsmen. The experience is held at the Cité de l'Histoire, beneath the Grande Arche de La Défense in Puteaux, and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. It is produced by Amaclio Productions, directed by Emissive with set design by Bruno Seillier, in collaboration with historians and architects, and is supported by Orange and the Diocese of Paris. Online booking is recommended, with arrival in advance; the experience is not recommended for children under 8.
