Spada Palace
CultureVisit: ~60 min
16th-century palace near Campo de' Fiori, now home to the Galleria Spada. In its courtyard, Borromini designed the forced perspective: a colonnaded gallery that looks much longer than it is (about 9 metres in reality versus 30 apparent). Inside is a collection of 16th- and 17th-century painting. The space in the perspective is an optical architectural trick.
