Lu Xun Park

Lu Xun Park is a public park in Hongkou District, Shanghai, located at 146 East Jiangwan Road, behind Hongkou Football Stadium. It contains Lu Xun's tomb, with an inscription calligraphed by Mao Zedong, and near it a bronze statue of the writer. In the southeast corner is the Lu Xun Memorial Museum, which preserves personal belongings, papers and publications. The park also includes a plum garden, a monument dedicated to Yun Bong-gil and a bust of the Hungarian poet Sándor Petőfi. At its centre is a small artificial lake where boat rides are offered, and on the lake's west side is the Te Li Ming teahouse. Locals often use the park for tai chi and dancing. The park also has several hundred cherry trees, some Yoshino specimens transplanted from Ueno Park in Tokyo.
