Wilmersdorf Cemetery
The Wilmersdorf Cemetery is a state cemetery in the Wilmersdorf district of Berlin. It has existed since 1885/1886 and has been extended several times, now covering 10.12 hectares. Sections A, B and D are listed as a landscaped monument of the State of Berlin. Between 1919 and 1923 a crematorium was built with spacious columbaria; it has not carried out cremations since 1990, although its mourning hall remains in use. The crematorium is a listed monument. The cemetery has a mourning hall with 140 seats, a Schuke organ, candelabra and sound equipment. Burials take place on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Access is via Berliner Straße 81-103, 10713 Berlin, near Fehrbelliner Platz station (U3, U7). Opening hours vary by season: March–April and September–October from 7.30am to 8pm; May–August from 7.30am to 9pm; November–February from 8am to 6pm.
