The Estadio Santiago Bernabéu is a sports venue owned by Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, located on Madrid's Paseo de la Castellana, in the Chamartín district. Opened on 14 December 1947, it currently has a capacity of 83,186 spectators and is rated by UEFA as an 'elite stadium'. It has hosted four European Cup/UEFA Champions League finals (1957, 1969, 1980 and 2010), the 1982 FIFA World Cup final and the 1964 European Championship final. The stadium offers tours for almost the entire year, taking in the Real Madrid museum with UEFA trophies, the dressing rooms, the players' tunnel, the press area, the VIP zone and the stands. The official Real Madrid store remains open, and the venue has several restaurants. The renovation completed in 2024 added a retractable roof and a stainless steel mesh façade, transforming its appearance.
