Wellington Column
CultureVisit: ~15 min
Memorial column dedicated to the Duke of Wellington, erected in 1865 beside William Brown Street, in the heart of Liverpool's cultural quarter. A statue of the duke crowns the shaft, which stands on a tall pedestal. It is next to St George's Hall and the group of museums and libraries in the area, so it fits into any walk through the centre.
