The Italian Football Hall of Fame is part of the Museo del Calcio in Florence and is promoted by the Italian Football Federation. Each year new members are inducted in categories such as Italian player, Italian coach, Italian veteran, foreign player, Italian referee, Italian executive and posthumous honour. Over time the category of Italian female player and the Fair Play Award in honour of Davide Astori were added, along with a Special Award.
