Stoa of Eumenes
CultureVisit: ~15 min
Long colonnaded gallery from the 2nd century BC that King Eumenes II of Pergamon gave to Athens. It extends more than 160 metres along the southern slope of the Acropolis, between the Theatre of Dionysus and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. It had two storeys with colonnades and served as a covered walkway for theatre audiences. Today you can see the partially reconstructed walls and arcades.
