Le Trianon
Le Trianon is a historic theatre and concert hall at 80 Boulevard de Rochechouart, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, at the foot of the Montmartre hill. Built in 1894 as a café-concert, it was destroyed by fire in 1900 and rebuilt in 1902 by architect Joseph Cassien-Bernard. Over its history it has operated as a theatre, music hall and cinema, and has hosted performers such as Mistinguett, Jacques Brel and Rihanna. It was listed as a historic monument in 1988 and, after a full restoration in 2009, reopened in 2010. It now offers a varied programme including concerts, theatre, opera, musicals and fashion shows. The building has a main hall seating 647 in the stalls and 440 across two balconies. On the ground floor is Le Petit Trianon, an Art Deco café-restaurant that reopened in 2011 after twenty years of closure. The theatre is well served by transport, close to Anvers metro station.
