A granite and bronze monument at Pier Head, the work of the sculptor William Goscombe John and unveiled in 1916, dedicated to the Titanic’s engineers who remained in the engine room until the very end of the sinking in 1912. Many of them were from Liverpool and Southampton. It stands near the Cunard Building, beside the River Mersey.
