Sydney Opera House
Building designed by the Danish architect Jørn Utzon and opened in 1973 by Elizabeth II, at the tip of Bennelong Point. Its roofs of white shells, clad in ceramic tiles, are the symbol of Sydney and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007. It houses several opera, concert and theatre halls, and can be explored with a guided tour of the inside and the exterior.
