Sydney Harbour Bridge
Steel arch bridge opened in 1932, built by the British company Dorman Long, linking the centre of Sydney with the north shore across Port Jackson. Locals call it "the Coathanger" because of its shape. You can cross it on foot by the pedestrian walkway, climb to the lookout in the south-east pylon or make the ascent of the arch with BridgeClimb. From it you can see the Opera House and the financial district.
