Food & drinkVisit: ~45 minFree
A food market in central Santander, next to the town hall, housed in a steel and glass building on an ashlar stone base, with a metal-framed roof and a long central skylight. Inside, the ground floor has fish and seafood stalls, while the upper floor is devoted to meat, dairy, fruit and vegetables. The building, elongated in plan with chamfered corners, is still used as a food market and has an outdoor area also used as a market in Plaza de la Esperanza.
