Four large brick gas holders in the Simmering district, built between 1896 and 1899. They went out of use in 1984 and in the early 2000s were converted into housing, offices, shops and a concert hall, with designs by Jean Nouvel, Coop Himmelb(l)au, Manfred Wehdorn and Wilhelm Holzbauer.
