Baths of Diocletian
CultureVisit: ~90 min
The largest baths of imperial Rome, built between 298 and 306. Part of their structure survives in the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, which Michelangelo adapted in the 16th century, and in the halls of the National Roman Museum, such as the Octagonal Hall. The curve of Piazza della Repubblica follows the outline of their exedra.
