Basilica of San Juan de Dios
CultureVisit: ~30 min
An 18th-century Baroque basilica built next to the former hospital founded by John of God, who died in Granada in 1550. It holds the saint's remains in a camarín (shrine chamber) and has a high altarpiece and a very lavish interior decoration, typical of Granada Baroque. It stands on Calle San Juan de Dios, north of the historic centre.
