Place de la République

At Marianne's feet are allegorical sculptures of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity, alongside a bronze lion guarding an urn representing universal suffrage. The monument's circular pedestal is decorated with bronze reliefs depicting key episodes in French republican history, such as the Storming of the Bastille and the Proclamation of the Republic.
